Florida's St. Petersburg Times calls I. Mac Perry The Renaissance Man. Mac is an artist whose illustrations and artworks are seen throughout his book. He is also the author of nine books, is an avocational archaeologist active on the lecture circuit, and is a horticulturist with over a thousand gardening articles in newspapers and magazines to his credit. Mac holds three college degrees and is a consummate musician who -- has worked a half-century in country, rock, pop, and jazz combos; is a singer who plays harp, guitar, bamboo flutes, drums, and vibes; was a U. S. Navy musician who toured Europe with an 18-piece jazz band; was principle percussionist for the Norfolk Symphony; and does singles as an Irish and American folk singer. He resides in Tampa Bay with his wife and business partner Linda Faye.
