Carolyn Mills has been the Principal Harpist of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 1989. She has appeared onstage with many of today's leading artists, from Kiri Te Kanawa to Sting. Carolyn has also performed with many major USA orchestras and given concerts in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, and even Antarctica. Very active as a teacher and adjudicator, she has worked extensively with modern composers and is now enjoying creating her own compositions for both pedal and lever harp.
Carolyn has recently become a Certified Music Practitioner working with patients in healthcare facilities. She continues to discover more about the amazing and unique power of the harp to help bring inspiration and healing to people in all kinds of settings.
