We have two sets of videos of harps by Dusty Strings so you can hear the sound of the various models. On the videos recorded by Dusty Strings, you can hear the harps played by Harper Tasche. You will see the harp model, but not see him playing.
I have also made my own series of videos where you will both see and hear me playing a variety of Dusty Strings harp models.

Dusty Strings harps have an unusually bright, clear tone with ample volume for both solo and ensemble work. They respond well to all playing styles. The string tension is moderate and even throughout the range, facilitating intricate ornamentation as well as the most precise and demanding expressive techniques. Dusty Strings installs the innovative Loveland levers on all of their harps. Tone quality is virtually unaltered with the lever engaged, and the sharping actionmaintains string alignment.

Excellent soft-shell cases made of water-proofed cordura and foam, with zipper closing, large accessory pockets, carrying handles, and a detachable shoulder strap are available for all Dusty Strings models. Back-pack straps are optional. Cases are included with the FH series of harps, and are sold separately for the Ravenna, Allegro, and Crescendo harps.

Woods
Dusty Strings harps are made of carefully selected hardwoods. For long-lasting beauty and protection, each instrument is finished with multiple applications of clear lacquer.

Ash Wood
The Ravenna harps are crafted with a solid ash neck and pillar, laminated European birch soundbox with ash-grained vinyl veneer, and a laminated European birch soundboard.

Sapele Wood
The construction of the Allegro and Crescendo harps is streamlined by using a laminated birch soundboard with bound edges. The neck, back, and sides are made of solid Sapele wood.

The FH Series of harps feature solid hardwood construction with top-of-the-line detailing and wood selection. Soundboards are meticulously constructed of mahogany or mahogany and spruce overlaid with maple or cherry veneer, bordered with a decorative purfling and edge-binding. The FH harps are available in five choices of woods.

Sapele Wood
Sapele
is a beautiful African hardwood. This reddish-brown wood boasts a lustrous, wavy grain that resembles mahogany both in color and texture, with a golden sheen. Sapele harps have a clear and warm tone, while maintaining Dusty Strings' characteristic bright sound.

Walnut Wood
Walnut
is a rich brown with a generally vivid grain. The sound is typically described as soft and warm, and somewhat mellow.

Maple Wood
Maple
is cream colored and even in grain. The sound is crisp and clean, very articulate and well defined, with lots of punch and projection.

Bubinga Wood
Bubinga
is an exotic African hardwood and is a beautiful rosy-brown color. The sound is rich and full bodied, with complex, big, resonant bass tones and sparkly, bell-like treble and mid range.

Cherry Wood
Figured Cherry
is both deep and bright, with a strong but very smooth voice.
