Double-strung harp specialist Cindy Shelhart is a performing artist, composer, and creator of The Technique Triangle, the simple system for double harp players that makes their music "sound like a double." She also teaches lead sheet performance and arranging for all harps.

A double-strung harp (DSH) pioneer since 1992, Cindy has performed and presented for national harp organizations and music festivals including the American Harp Society, the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen, the Somerset Folk Harp Festival (NJ), and The Harp Gathering (OH). Her solo DSH albums, Limberlost Angel and That Night in Bethlehem, have been featured on public radio and podcasts, and she is the first DSH player to win the US National Scottish Harp Championship.

She lives with her husband and cats in northwest Indiana near Chicago.
