Joanne has been active in the world of the folk harp for many years, recording, concertizing, accompanying, giving and attending workshops, promoting and writing for the instrument, and teaching extensively. She has played gigs and concerts on ferry boats, in ruined stone mills, under rain-drenched marquees, in the Canadian Museum of Civilization and Supreme Court, in German cathedrals, Irish dance halls, and tiny folk clubs; and is still in love with an instrument that requires a van to transport and has to be tuned with every change of location, temperature or humidity.
