Vicki Collinsworth studied piano performance and pedagogy at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, and has been a working musician since age 21. For the past 12 years, she has served as Music Director/Organist at First Christian Church in Tullahoma. She also plays for Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Tullahoma. Vicki's organ and piano sheet music arrangements have been published with Lorenz, Hal Leonard, and Hope Publishing. She received the "Most Creative Composer" award in the instrumental division for five years at Joseph Martin's Composer Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia.
After retiring from 20 years of teaching, Vicki has devoted most of her time to composing and arranging for different ensembles and choirs she is involved with, including the Tullahoma Civic Choir, Motlow College choir, church ensembles, and her own jazz quartet. Her harp background began in 2014 when she acquired her first harp and began taking lessons online from Rhett Barnwell. She continued her studies with a local teacher after acquiring a pedal harp. She has been using her own harp arrangements in concerts and during church services for the past seven years.
