José teaches private and group lessons for children and adults at his studio, as well as through Skype. He teaches at the following schools: Emil Friedman (caracas) and Colegio Artistico Santa Cecilia (Osorno). He will travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. José teaches South American style and music, and music theory. He offers a harp ensemble for his students. He has an Estudiante de conservatorio degree. As of 2019, he has been a harpist for 24 years and has been teaching for 16 years. He studied with Eduardo Betancourt, Juan Jayaro, and Leonard Jacome. José teaches in English and Spanish.
