Trista Hill is a professional performing harpist, teacher, composer, recording artist, and fine artist currently based in Ohio. She embraces an unconventional approach to both performance and education, often collaborating with other creatives - in addition to solo work, she has played with jazz improvisational groups, an alternative folk-rock band, an art pop-rock band, and others. Trista toured with Deborah Henson-Conant, offering performances and a creativity workshop they developed together called Fireworks for the Creative Spirit, and closely works with the internationally-known Jazz Harp Foundation. Her art and music therapy background inform her compositions -- they highlight specific technical skills while offering opportunities for inner exploration, self-expression, and improvisation.
