Rita teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical, orchestral, and folk music. She also teaches music theory and piano. Rita studied with Alice Chalifoux, Patricia Pence Sokoloff, and Lucille Lawrence. She has BM and MM degrees and is Suzuki I certified. She has been teaching since 1992.

Serena studied with Karen Mckibben and Julietta Rabens and has been teaching since 2023.

"My music teacher studied pedal harp with Marcel Grandjany in New York City. I played with the Celtic Coyote folk band for two years which was an incredible learning opportunity -- they were all my teachers.
Lessons are based on your goals and interests. We will start where you are learning beautiful simple pieces as you learn correct technique. Lessons include painless theory. playing by ear, reading music, and improvising. With a good foundation you can go as far as you'd like."

Jocelyn teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, as well as through Skype, FaceTime, and Zoom. No previous musical training is required. She requires parents of young students to learn tuning and basic harp maintenance until the student is ready to take on the responsibility. Jocelyn teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical and religious music. She also teaches arranging and music theory. She will offer harp ensembles and recitals once the Covid restrictions are lifted. She encourages her students to play with other instrumentalists and to play in churches and nursing homes. Jocelyn studied with Mildred Dilling, Ruth Negri, and Assunta del Aquila. She has Bachelors of Music degree and an Artists Diploma, and has been teaching since 1980.

"I have decades of performing experience on both the pedal and lever harp as well as on the harpsichord. I have also held church positions in the capacity of pianist, organist and choir director. I teach the Grandjany technic and believe it to be the most pure and efficient technique on both pedal and lever harp."

Jeannie teaches private lessons for children and adults through Zoom and at her studio. She offers a monthly Zoom Harp Circle. Previous musical training is helpful but not required. Jeannie teaches many musical styles, specializing in classical and Celtic music. She incorporates arranging, improvisation, and music theory into lessons. She has been teaching since 1990, with positions at Vassar College, Grinnell College, and Iowa State University. Jeannie holds a B.Music Education from Butler University and M.Music from the New England Conservatory. She studied with Liz Cifani, Eddie Druzinski, and Bernard Zhigera.

"My focus is determined by my student's individual goals and areas of strength. I start with basic technical work as evidenced in my own harp books, and introduce a variety of musical genres, from Classical to Celtic to Latin American."
