Colleen Potter Thorburn
Colleen teaches private lessons for children and adults at her home studio and at the University of Central Arkansas. No previous musical training is required. Colleen commonly teaches classical, orchestral, modern, pop, jazz, Celtic, folk, and religious music, as well as arranging and music theory. She offers recitals and harp ensemble experiences. She studied with Ann Yeung, June Han, and Laura Hearne and has holds DMA, MMA, MM, and BM degrees in harp performance. Colleen has been teaching since 2004.

I help each student, beginner and advanced alike, to develop a personal, critical approach toward music as a vehicle for creative communication, while simultaneously developing a relaxed and reliable playing technique. Joyce teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio. She will also travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. Joyce teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical and folk music, and also teaches music theory. She studied with Suzanne Thomas (Buffalo Philharmonic) and Eileen Malone (Eastman School of Music). Joyce has a Masters degree and has been teaching since 1986.
