No previous musical training is required. Bethany teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical and orchestral music. She also teaches improvisation and music theory. Bethany studied with Sally Duran, Helen Rifas, Carol McClure, and Joan Holland. She has a Bachelors in Music from Union University, and a Masters of Music in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan. She has been teaching since 2013.

"My goal for each lesson is to equip students with the skills they need to confidently and joyfully play the harp. I welcome students of all ages and skill levels, teaching both lever and pedal harp and integrating aural training and theory into lessons so that the student gains mastery over all aspects of music. With my background in the two prominent harp methods "French" and "Salzedo" as well as in the British music education system ABRSM, I have the experience necessary to meet student's individual needs."
