Kirsten Agresta Copely
Kirsten teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio and at Sarah Lawrence College. She also teaches through Skype. Basic music theory and ability to read music is required for new students. Kirsten specializes in classical and pop music, and also teaches arranging and improvisation and orchestral, modern, pop, rock and roll, folk, and therapy music. She has Bachelors of Music and Masters of Music degrees from Indiana University School of Music, and has studied with Susann McDonald and Nancy Allen. Kirsten has been teaching since 1987.

Dr. Sarah Crocker
Sarah teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, Hillnote Music, and is Adjunct Professor of Harp at Middle Tennessee State University and Lipscomb University. She also offers lessons via Zoom and to students in northern AL and MS. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps available to rent for her students. Sarah teaches all musical styles, arranging, music theory, and music history. Sarah offers recitals and harp ensembles for her students, as well as community performance opportunities. Sarah holds a B.M., M.M., and D.M.A. in Harp Performance with Musicology cognate and has been teaching since 1999.

Phyllis Taylor Sparks
Phyllis teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio in the Oak Hill area of Nashville, and at Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University. She also teaches through Skype. No previous musical training is required. She has both lever harps and pedal harps for rent to her students. Phyllis specializes in classical and Celtic music, and also teaches orchestral and folk music. She has Bachelors and Masters Degrees, and has been teaching since 1995.

Jodi teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio. No previous musical training is required. Jodi teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical and religious music. She also offers theory training, sight reading skills, ear development, and coaching in musicianship. She studied with Susan Dederich-Pejovich and Gail Barber.
"I love to share the joy of music with my students. I have been playing harp for 32 years and studied classically through the college level. I have been trained in both the French and Salzedo methods. I believe music should be joyful and my desire as a teacher is to pass on a love for music and for the harp. My main goal with students is to discover their own personal goals and help them achieve them. I explore how each student learns best and teach to their particular learning style."
Rachel teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio. No previous musical training is required. Rachel specializes in Celtic music and also teaches pop, folk, and religious music. She studied with Faith Stenning in Pittsburgh, and has been teaching since 2004.
Elizabeth teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, as well as through Skype and Zoom. She specializes in teaching adult beginners, and no previous musical training is required. Elizabeth teaches all musical styles, specializing in arranging and Celtic music. She offers recitals for her students. She has Masters of Music from The Peabody Conservatory of Music, and has been teaching since 1988.

Sheila Mitchell Hary
Sheila teaches private and group lessons for children and adults at her Birdsong Harp Center. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Sheila specializes in Celtic and religious music, and also teaches composition, arranging, improvisation, and classical, orchestral, early, and religious music. She offers recitals, harp ensembles, harp circles, theory classes, and jam sessions for her students. She has a London College of Music Teaching Diploma and a teaching certification from the Irish Harp Centre. She studied with Marian Shaffer and Janet Harbison, and has been teaching since 1982.
Tori spreads the joy of playing the pedal harp and lever harp by teaching private lessons to children and adults of all skill levels (no previous musical training required) at her students' homes or online via Skype. Tori's teaching style is holistic: she focuses not just on reading music, harp technique, and basic music theory but also music history, developing effective practice habits, and helping her students discover how the harp can best fit into their lives and personal musical goals. Tori has lever harps available for rent, and she offers recitals and other performance opportunities for her students. Tori studied with Marjorie Chauvel and has been teaching since 2014.
