Sister Mary Margaret teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio and at the Franciscan Montessori Earth School. She will also travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. Sister Mary Margaret specializes in Christian, Celtic, folk, classical, and religious music. She also teaches arranging and music theory. She offers recitals and harp ensembles. She has a BME; Masters of Art in Education/Music; Equivalency Bachelor of Music Therapy. She is a board-certified Music Therapist and certified piano teacher. She studied with Maria Royce-Hesse, and has been teaching since 1990.

Andie teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, as well as through Skype. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Andie teaches arranging, composition, improvisation, and folk, Celtic, classical, and religious music. She offers recitals and harp circles, and has been teaching since 2006. She studied with Katherine Rands, and Jennifer Pratt-Walter.

Elizabeth teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, as well as through Skype. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Elizabeth teaches all musical styles, specializing in Celtic and folk music. She also teaches composition, arranging, improvisation, and music theory. Elizabeth has been teaching since 1996.

Misty teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, and at Valley Catholic Music School. She'll also travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Misty specializes in classical and jazz music and also teaches orchestral, pop, Celtic, folk, South American, and religious music. She teaches composition, arranging, and improvisation, and offers recitals. She has a Bachelors in Harp Performance and a Masters in Harp Performance, and has been teaching since 2006. She studied with Dr. Carrol McLaughlin.

Laura teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio and at the University of Oregon. She also teaches through Skype. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps and pedal harps for rent to her students. Laura teaches all musical styles, as well as composition, arranging, improvisation, and music theory. Laura also offers recitals, harp ensembles, harp camps, and retreats for her students. Laura studied with Sally Maxwell, Eileen Malone, and Bertille Fournie. She has a Masters in Music and is an MHTP graduate. Laura has been teaching harp since 1984.

Sharon teaches private lessons for adults and seniors at her studio and online through Zoom. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her local students. Sharon teaches a variety of musical styles: Celtic, folk, early, Pop, Latin, therapy and most others that the student wants to learn. She teaches theory as it applies to what is being learned. She is a Certified Music Practitioner from the Music for Healing and Transition Program. She studied with Laura Zaerr, Kim Robertson, and Sunita Stanislow, and has been teaching since 2005.

Jeralee teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio and at the Shedd Institute. She will travel to the homes of local students, and also teaches through Skype. No previous musical training is required. Jeralee teaches all musical styles, as well as arranging, improvisation, and music theory. She also offers recitals for her students. She has a B.M. in Harp Performance from the UO School of Music, and an S.A. in Piano Pedagogy. She has been teaching since 1995.

Becca teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical, modern and orchestral music. She also teaches composition, arranging, improvisation, and music theory, and offers harp ensembles and recitals for her students. She studied with Dr. Ann Marie Liss and has a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance. She has been teaching since 2014.

She has a degree from the University of Oregon School of Music, and trained at Eastman School of Music. She studied with Eileen Malone and Wendy Kerner. She has been teaching since 1988.

"I am in love with the harp and am always excited to customize lessons to each student. I especially enjoy children and try to follow their interests while helping them develop good technical skills and practice habits. I teach the pedal harp to students who have one and travel to their homes (for an additional charge). Students may borrow books, CDS, and Folk Harp Journals from my library. I have flexible scheduling, but prefer during the weekday, as I have a family."

Rosanna teaches private and group lessons for children and adults at her studio and at the Univeristy of Oregon. She also teaches through Skype, FaceTime and Zoom, and will travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. Rosanna teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical, folk, and orchestral music. She also teaches arranging, improvisation, and music theory, and offers recitals and harp ensembles for her students. Rosanna studied with Kathleen Bride and Eira Lynn Jones. She has been teaching since 2010 and has the following degrees: DMA, MM (Eastman), BMus with honors (Royal Northern College of Music).

"My philosophy is that anyone can learn to play music, and each person will learn slightly differently. It is on me as the teacher to find the best way for you to learn. Whether you are more comfortable playing by ear or reading music, I believe it is possible to learn by incorporating both methods."

Lynda teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio. No previous musical training is required. Lynda specializes in improvisation and teaching singer songwriters. She also teaches arranging, composition, and pop, blues, Celtic, folk, South American, and therapy music. She was a music major for 3 years at college, and has been teaching since 1995.

"I like to make learning the harp fun. I adapt the teaching method to the interests of the student. I am also a nurse and teach mindfulness based stress relief."

Celia teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio, as well as at the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. Celia teaches classical, pop, Celtic, folk, therapy and religious music. She offers harp ensembles and theory classes. She has a BA with Single Subject Music Teaching Credential, and an MA in Piano Performance. She has been teaching since 1988.

Dayton teaches private and group lessons for children and adults at his studio, at a college, and through Skype. He also will travel to the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. He has lever harps for rent to his students. Dayton teaches classical, orchestral, modern, pop, and therapy music, as well as composition, arranging and improvisation. He has been teaching since 2016, and he teaches in Indonesian as well as in English.

Sally teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Sally specializes in Celtic music and also teaches composition and classical and therapy music. She offers recitals and theory classes for her students. She has a BA in Music Performance from the University of Oregon, and she belongs to the Oregon Music Teachers Association. She studied with Ardy Maddox, and has been teaching since 1999.

Rebecca teaches private lessons for children and adults at her studio and at the Cascade School of Music in Bend, Oregon. She will travel to the homes of local students, and also teaches through Skype. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps for rent to her students. Rebecca specializes in improvisation and Celtic music, and also teaches composition and arranging, and classical, orchestral, pop, blues, folk, early, and world music. She holds recitals, and harp ensembles are offered through the Cascade School of Music. The High Cascades Harp Retreat is held in June. She has a Bachelors of Music from the University of Oregon. She studied with Sally Maxwell and has been teaching since 1996.
