For lever or pedal harp.
Alfredo Ortiz has brought his expertise in South American music to the world of harp ensembles, arranging Christmas songs from the US, Germany, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela with a Latin flair. He's also included 3 of his own Christmas compositions.
This Christmas book is truly "flexible." The pieces can be played as harp solos, harp duets, or harp ensembles. You can play them with other instruments, as well as vocalists. Some of the harp parts are extremely easy for beginning harp players, so every member of your ensemble can participate.
The keys range from 1 flat to 2 sharps, and are playable on either lever or pedal harps. Some fingerings are included. Each harp player will need their own book.
An added bonus are Alfredo's explanations about the songs, and how they are used in Christmas festivities in the various countries. These "liner notes" make the pieces more meaningful to play, and can also be used as introductions for performances. This PDF is 80 pages.
