Item #p7894
$5.00

For lever or pedal harp.

Here's how Kathleen describes her arrangement.
Toutouig is a Breton lullaby (from Brittany) for intermediate lever or pedal harp. It is in the key of A minor, with no sharps or flats. The 6/8 meter creates a comforting rocking rhythm. The gently descending bassline carries one down to rest. This theme and variations establish an almost hypnotic effect as the tune repeats. The text of the first verse of the cradle song is provided in the score in the original Breton along with chord symbols. There are no lever changes. This arrangement utilizes occasional left-hand harmonics, rolled chords, and près de la table (p.d.l.t.) or playing near the soundboard. This soothing lullaby works well to provide a calming, meditative mood and is appropriate whenever soothing music is desired.

This PDF of seven pages contains three pages of music. Chord symbols are included, but no fingerings.
